Since my husband died a year ago I have been trying to sell our home to enable me to move back to my homeland to be near the rest of my family. I can hardly afford to get by and worried that there will soon be maintenance issues to deal with too. I have had two buyers drop out of the house sale before completion and now there is another taking a long time to commit to their purchase. I have no more money left to live on and am getting desperate. When will I come out of this horrific year of limbo?

I am very sorry to hear about the loss of your husband. My thoughts and prayers are going out to you dear!

I was curious, are you able to collect any survivor benefits, or collect a pension where you are residing right now? Would it be to your best interest to speak with a financial advisor? They may be able to help with your financial issue and best direct the steps you should take to help make your life more financially comfortable.
