Zozocolco de Hidalgo, also known as Bozocalco or Zozocolco, is a town in the municipality of Papantla, in the state of Veracruz-Llave, Mexico. It is located at an altitude of 120 meters above sea level and has a population of 2,500 inhabitants. The climate is tropical with an average temperature of 25 degrees Celsius. The town was founded in the 16th century by the Totonac people and is home to several archaeological sites, including the ruins of the ancient city of El Tajín.
