Yenotayevka, also known as Ekataevsk, is a town in Astrakhan Oblast, Russia, located on the left bank of the Volga River, 130 kilometers northwest of Astrakhan. The town was founded in 1742 as a military outpost and named after the nearby Yenotayevka River. The climate is continental, with hot summers and cold winters.
