Xintai is a city in the Shandong province of China. It is located in the central part of the province, approximately 100 kilometers south of the provincial capital, Jinan. The city has a humid subtropical climate, with hot, humid summers and cold, dry winters. Xintai has a long history, dating back to the Han Dynasty (206 BCE - 220 CE). The city was once a major center of trade and commerce, and it is still home to many historical sites, including the Xintai Confucian Temple and the Xintai City Wall.
