Wrightsville, Georgia, is a town located at the intersection of U.S. Route 1 and Georgia State Route 15 in Johnson County, Georgia, United States. It is situated about 45 miles southeast of Macon and 60 miles northwest of Savannah. The town has a humid subtropical climate, with hot, humid summers and mild winters. Wrightsville was founded in 1809 and named after William Wright, a local planter and politician. The town's historic downtown district is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
