Worthington is a town in Greene County, Indiana, United States, with a population of 1,462. It is located in south-central Indiana, approximately 50 miles southwest of Indianapolis. The town was founded in 1834 and named after Thomas Worthington, the sixth governor of Ohio. Worthington has a humid continental climate with hot, humid summers and cold, snowy winters. The town is home to several historical sites, including the Worthington Historical Museum and the Worthington Public Library.
