Woodburn, Indiana is a small city located in northeast Indiana, approximately 15 miles north of Fort Wayne. The city has a humid continental climate, with warm, humid summers and cold, snowy winters. Woodburn was founded in 1837 by John Woodburn, and was originally known as Woodburn Station. The city's heritage is largely agricultural, and it is home to several Amish and Mennonite communities.
