West Nyack is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) located within the town of Clarkstown in Rockland County, New York, United States. It is situated approximately 20 miles (32 kilometers) north of New York City, in the Lower Hudson Valley region of the state. The area has a rich history dating back to the 17th century, when it was first settled by Dutch farmers.
