Weber City, Virginia, is a town located in Scott County, Virginia, United States, at latitude 36.6228800 and longitude -82.5621000. The town has a humid subtropical climate, with hot, humid summers and mild winters. Weber City was founded in 1890 by John A. Weber, a German immigrant who purchased land in the area and established a tannery. The town grew rapidly in the early 20th century, due in part to the construction of the Clinchfield Railroad. Today, Weber City is a small town with a population of just over 1,000 people. The town is home to a number of historic buildings, including the Weber City Schoolhouse, which was built in 1906 and is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
