Vlad Ţepeş, also known as Vlad the Impaler, was a Wallachian prince who ruled in the mid-15th century and is known for his brutal methods of punishment. Romania is located in southeastern Europe, bordered by the Black Sea to the east, Ukraine to the north, Hungary and Serbia to the west, and Bulgaria to the south.
