Vînători-Neamţ, also known as Draguta, is a commune in Neamț County, Romania, located in the historical region of Western Moldavia, at the confluence of the rivers Cracăul Alb and Bistrița. The commune is situated in the northern part of the county, at a distance of 25 km from Piatra Neamț, the county seat, and 30 km from Târgu Neamț. The climate of the commune is temperate continental, with average annual temperatures of 8-10 °C. The commune has a rich history, with archaeological evidence indicating human presence in the area since the Neolithic period. The first written mention of the commune dates back to 1490, when it was known as Draguta. The commune is home to several historical monuments, including the Vînători-Neamț Monastery, which was founded in 1497 by Stephen the Great.
