Village Green is a hamlet in the town of Manlius, Onondaga County, New York, United States. It is located at the intersection of New York State Route 5 and New York State Route 257, approximately 10 miles southeast of Syracuse. The hamlet has a population of approximately 1,500 people and is known for its historic homes and businesses. The area was originally settled by Dutch farmers in the 17th century and was known as "New Holland" until the early 19th century. The name "Village Green" was adopted in 1829 when the village was incorporated. The hamlet has a rich history and heritage, with many of its buildings dating back to the 19th century.
