Villa Hills is a city in Kenton County, Kentucky, United States, located on the south bank of the Ohio River, across from Cincinnati, Ohio. The city has a humid subtropical climate, with hot, humid summers and cold, snowy winters. Villa Hills was founded in 1835 by a group of German immigrants and was originally known as Germantown. The city's name was changed to Villa Hills in 1890.
