Victoria, Romania, is a town in the northeastern part of the country, in the historical region of Moldova. It is located at the confluence of the rivers Bârlad and Siret, and has a population of around 6,000 people. The climate is continental, with hot summers and cold winters. The town was first mentioned in a document in 1437, and was granted town status in 1864. It has a rich history and heritage, and is home to several historical monuments, including the Church of the Dormition of the Theotokos, which was built in the 15th century.
