Vershina Tei is a settlement in the Bogradsky District of the Republic of Khakassia, Russia. It is located at the confluence of the Teya and Abakan rivers, at an elevation of 200 meters above sea level. The climate is continental, with cold winters and warm summers. The average annual temperature is -2.5 degrees Celsius, and the average annual precipitation is 500 millimeters. The settlement was founded in 1707 as a Cossack fort, and it has been an important center of trade and transportation ever since. The settlement is home to a number of historical and cultural landmarks, including the Church of the Holy Trinity, which was built in 1823, and the Museum of Local Lore, which houses a collection of artifacts from the region's history.
