Vazzola is a comune (municipality) in the province of Treviso in the Veneto region of northern Italy. It is located in the northeastern part of the province, about 25 kilometers (16 miles) from Treviso. The climate is humid subtropical, with hot, humid summers and cold, wet winters. Vazzola has a rich history, dating back to the Roman era. The town was first mentioned in a document from 1025 AD, and it was later ruled by the Lombards, the Franks, and the Venetians. Vazzola is home to a number of historical monuments, including the Castello di Vazzola, a 14th-century castle that is now used as a museum.
