Valley Falls, Kansas, USA, is a small town located at the confluence of the Delaware and Kansas Rivers, about 40 miles west of Kansas City. It has a humid continental climate with hot, humid summers and cold, dry winters. The town was founded in 1854 by abolitionists and was a stop on the Underground Railroad. It is known for its historic downtown, which includes several buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
