Vallerotonda is a town in the province of Frosinone in Lazio, central Italy. It is located in the southern part of the Lazio region, about 100 km southeast of Rome. The town has a population of about 2,000 people and is situated at an altitude of 500 meters above sea level. The climate is temperate, with hot summers and mild winters. Vallerotonda has a long history, dating back to the Roman era. It was originally a Roman settlement called Vallis Rotunda, which means "round valley". The town was later destroyed by the Saracens in the 9th century and was rebuilt in the 11th century. Vallerotonda has a rich heritage, including several churches, palaces, and monuments. The most notable of these is the Church of San Michele Arcangelo, which was built in the 12th century.
