Valea Viilor, Romania, also known as Vorumloc, is a village located in Sibiu County, Transylvania. It is situated in the Hârtibaciu Valley, at an altitude of 397 meters (1,302 feet) above sea level. The village has a temperate continental climate, with warm summers and cold winters. Valea Viilor has a rich history, dating back to the 13th century. It was first mentioned in a document from 1292, and was originally inhabited by German settlers. The village was later taken over by the Hungarians, and then by the Romanians. Valea Viilor is home to a number of historical landmarks, including the Lutheran church, which was built in the 15th century, and the Orthodox church, which was built in the 18th century.
