Val-de-Reuil, also known as Le Vaudreuil-Ville Nouvelle, is a commune in the Eure department in the Haute-Normandie region of France. Located on the left bank of the Seine river, about 20 kilometers southwest of Rouen, it has a temperate climate with average temperatures ranging from 4°C in January to 19°C in July. Its history dates back to the Middle Ages, when it was a stronghold of the Normans. In the 1960s, it became a new town, built to accommodate the population growth of the nearby industrial areas. Today, Val-de-Reuil is a modern and dynamic city, with a rich cultural heritage, including the Château du Vaudreuil, a 16th-century castle.
