Ust’-Donetskiy, formerly known as Kreslovskiy, is a town in Rostov Oblast, Russia, located on the Don River, 110 kilometers (68 mi) northeast of Rostov-on-Don. The town has a humid continental climate with hot summers and cold winters. Ust’-Donetskiy was founded in 1681 as a Cossack settlement and has a rich history and heritage, including the remains of an 18th-century fortress.
