Unter-Bad Krozingen is a town in the district of Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is located in the Rhine Valley, on the banks of the Neumagen River, about 15 km south of Freiburg im Breisgau. The town has a mild climate, with average temperatures ranging from 5°C in January to 22°C in July. Unter-Bad Krozingen has a long history, dating back to the Roman era. It was first mentioned in 760 AD as "Chrozzinga". In the Middle Ages, the town was a possession of the Counts of Freiburg. In 1452, it was acquired by the Margraves of Baden. Unter-Bad Krozingen became a spa town in the 19th century, and it has been a popular tourist destination ever since.
