Tunkhannock is a borough in Wyoming County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is located at the confluence of the North Branch Susquehanna River and Tunkhannock Creek, at the foot of the Endless Mountains. The borough has a population of 1,832 as of the 2020 census. The name Tunkhannock is derived from a Native American word meaning "small stream". The borough was founded in 1790 by European settlers.
