Trumansburg is a village in Tompkins County, New York, United States. It is located in the Finger Lakes region of the state, on the west shore of Cayuga Lake. The village has a population of 1,773 people (2020 census). The village was founded in 1817 by Moses Truman, and was originally known as Truman's Landing. The village is home to the Trumansburg Fair, which is held annually in August.
