Tortolita, Arizona, is a small town located in Pinal County, approximately 30 miles southeast of Phoenix. The town has a desert climate with hot summers and mild winters. Tortolita was originally settled by the Hohokam people around 500 AD. The town was later named after the Tortolita Mountains, which are located to the east of the town.
