Tolmachëvo is a village in the Novosibirsk Oblast, Russia, located about 15 kilometers west of Novosibirsk, at the intersection of the Trans-Siberian Railway and the M51 highway. The village has a population of about 10,000 people and is home to the Tolmachëvo Airport, the largest airport in Siberia. The village was founded in 1718 as a Cossack outpost and has since grown into a major transportation hub. The weather in Tolmachëvo is continental, with cold winters and warm summers.
