Tišnov, also known as Tischnowitz, is a town located in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic, approximately 25 kilometers northwest of Brno. It lies at the confluence of the Svratka and Loučka rivers and is known for its historic center, which features a 13th-century castle and a 14th-century church. The town has a temperate climate with warm summers and cold winters.
