Tauberrettersheim is a village in the district of Würzburg in Bavaria, Germany. It is located in the Tauber Valley, on the left bank of the river Tauber. The village has a population of around 1,000 people. The climate is temperate, with average temperatures ranging from 0°C in January to 20°C in July. The village was first mentioned in 1285. It was part of the Archbishopric of Würzburg until 1803, when it became part of Bavaria. The village is home to a number of historical buildings, including the St. Laurentius Church, which was built in the 15th century.
