Suvorovskaya is a rural locality in Stavropolsky District, Stavropol Krai, Russia, located in the steppe zone of the Ciscaucasia, 20 kilometers (12 mi) north of Stavropol. The climate is temperate continental with hot summers and moderately cold winters. Suvorovskaya was founded in 1777 by Cossacks as the village of Suvorovskaya. In 1963, it was renamed to Suvorovskaya. The village is home to a number of historical and cultural landmarks, including the Church of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin, built in 1823, and the Suvorov Museum, which houses a collection of artifacts related to the life and military career of Alexander Suvorov.
