Sünching is a municipality in the district of Regensburg in Bavaria, Germany. It is located in the Danube Valley, about 10 km east of Regensburg. The climate is temperate, with average temperatures ranging from -1°C in January to 18°C in July. Sünching has a long history, dating back to the Neolithic period. The town was first mentioned in a document in 822 AD. In the Middle Ages, Sünching was a market town and a center of trade. The town's heritage is reflected in its many historical buildings, including the Pfarrkirche St. Martin, which was built in the 12th century.
