Sukošan is a town and municipality in Croatia, located in the Zadar County. It is situated on the Dalmatian coast, 12 km southeast of Zadar. The town has a population of around 4,000 people. The weather in Sukošan is mild, with average temperatures ranging from 10°C in January to 27°C in July. The town has a long history, dating back to the Roman era. It was once a Roman military camp, and later a Byzantine and Venetian fortress. Sukošan is home to a number of historical and cultural sites, including the Church of St. Nicholas, the Venetian Tower, and the Archaeological Museum.
