Strasburg is a town in Adams and Arapahoe counties in Colorado, United States, located about 20 miles (32 km) east-northeast of downtown Denver. The town has a population of 2,538 as of the 2020 census. Strasburg was founded in 1870 by German immigrants and was named after the city of Strasbourg in France. The town is home to the Strasburg Railroad Museum, which is one of the largest railroad museums in the United States. The museum has a collection of over 100 locomotives and railroad cars, as well as a variety of other railroad artifacts. Strasburg also has a number of other historical sites, including the Strasburg Schoolhouse, which was built in 1882 and is one of the oldest schoolhouses in Colorado.
