Stevensville is a town in Queen Anne's County, Maryland, United States, located on the Eastern Shore at the head of the Chester River. The town was founded in 1790 and named after Colonel Edward Stevens, a Revolutionary War hero. Stevensville has a humid subtropical climate with hot, humid summers and mild winters. The town is home to several historic sites, including the Stevensville Historic District, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
