State Line is a small unincorporated community in Franklin County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is located at the intersection of U.S. Route 30 and Pennsylvania Route 997, and is part of the Chambersburg, PA Metropolitan Statistical Area. The community has a humid subtropical climate, with hot, humid summers and cold, snowy winters. The area was originally settled by Native Americans, and was later settled by Europeans in the 18th century. State Line is home to a number of historical sites, including the Old State Line Church and the State Line Cemetery.
