Stammham is a municipality in the district of Eichstätt in Bavaria, Germany. It is located in the Altmühl valley, about 20 km (12 mi) northeast of Ingolstadt. The climate is temperate, with average temperatures ranging from 0°C (32°F) in January to 20°C (68°F) in July. The municipality has a long history, dating back to the Neolithic period. It was first mentioned in a document in 1007, and was granted market rights in 1328. The municipality is home to a number of historical buildings, including the 12th-century St. Martin's Church and the 15th-century Town Hall.
