Spring Valley, also known as Spring-Vehlli, is a village in Rockland County, New York, United States, located approximately 25 miles northwest of New York City. It has a humid subtropical climate with hot, humid summers and cold, snowy winters. Spring Valley was founded in the early 19th century by Dutch settlers and was originally known as Spring Valley of the Ramapo Mountains.
