Smętowo Graniczne is a village in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, Poland, located near the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia. The village has a humid continental climate with warm summers and cold winters. Smętowo Graniczne was first mentioned in 1346 and was part of the Teutonic Order until 1466, when it became part of Poland. The village was annexed by Prussia in 1772 and remained part of Germany until 1945, when it was returned to Poland.
