Slavyansk-na-Kubani is a city in the Krasnodar Krai of Russia, located on the right bank of the Protoka River, opposite the city of Krasnodar. The city has a humid subtropical climate with hot, humid summers and mild, wet winters. Slavyansk-na-Kubani was founded in 1865 as a Cossack settlement and became a city in 1958. The city is home to a number of historical and cultural sites, including the Slavyansk-na-Kubani Museum of Local Lore, the Church of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin, and the Monument to the Defenders of the City.
