Sezimovo Ústí, also known as Alt Tabor, is a town in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic, situated at the confluence of the Lužnice and Vltava rivers. The town has a humid continental climate with warm, wet summers and cold, snowy winters. Its history dates back to the 13th century, when it was founded as a fortified settlement by the Knights Templar. Sezimovo Ústí is home to several historical landmarks, including the Church of St. Vitus, the Old Town Hall, and the remains of the Taborite castle.
