Serra Riccò, Liguria, Italy, known locally as A Sǽra, is a comune located in the Metropolitan City of Genoa, Liguria, Italy, at an altitude of 372 m (1,220 ft) above sea level. The municipality covers an area of 26.9 km2 (10.4 sq mi) and has a population of 7,865 (as of 2018). The climate is temperate, with average temperatures ranging from 7 °C (45 °F) in January to 24 °C (75 °F) in July. The municipality is rich in history and heritage, with evidence of human habitation dating back to the Bronze Age. The town was first mentioned in a document from 1143, and it was part of the Republic of Genoa from the 13th to the 18th century.
