Seeburg is a municipality in the district of Göttingen, Lower Saxony, Germany. It is located in the Leine Uplands, approximately 10 kilometers (6 miles) west of Osterode am Harz. Seeburg was first mentioned in a document in 1022 and was granted town privileges in 1247.
