Sasso Marconi, also known as Al Sas, is a town and comune in the province of Bologna, Emilia-Romagna, Italy. It is located on the Reno River, 20 kilometers southwest of Bologna. The town has a population of about 15,000 people and is known for its medieval architecture, including the Rocca di Sasso Marconi, a 14th-century fortress. The town is also home to the Marconi Museum, which tells the story of Guglielmo Marconi, the inventor of the radio.
