Sapozhok is a town in Ryazan Oblast, Russia, located on the bank of the Pronya River, approximately 60 km northeast of Ryazan. The town has a humid continental climate with warm summers and cold, snowy winters. Sapozhok was first mentioned in 1637 as a village, and it was granted town status in 1778. The town is home to several historical buildings, including the Church of the Nativity of the Theotokos, which was built in the 18th century.
