San Vicente is a municipality in the province of Ilocos Sur, Philippines. It is situated on the northwestern coast of Luzon Island, facing the South China Sea. The municipality has a tropical climate, with an average temperature of 27°C (81°F) and an annual rainfall of 1,500 mm (59 in). San Vicente was founded in 1768 by Spanish missionaries, and its history is closely tied to the Catholic Church. The municipality is home to several historical churches, including the San Vicente Ferrer Church, which was built in 1778.
