Rzepin, also known as Reppen or Zhepin, is a town in the Lubusz Voivodeship, western Poland. It is located at the confluence of the Oder and Neisse rivers, in the historic Lubusz Land region. The town has a humid continental climate with warm summers and cold winters. Rzepin has a long and rich history, dating back to the 13th century. It was once a possession of the Margraves of Brandenburg and later of the Kingdom of Prussia. After World War II, it became part of Poland. Today, Rzepin is a thriving town with a population of over 6,000 people. It is home to several historical landmarks, including the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the ruins of the Reppen Castle.
