Roxas, formerly known as Paclasan or Paglasan, is a municipality in the province of Oriental Mindoro, Mimaropa, Philippines. Located on the northern coast of Oriental Mindoro, Roxas experiences a tropical climate with an average temperature of 26.6°C (79.9°F) and an average annual rainfall of 1,905.6 millimeters (75.02 inches). The town's history dates back to the pre-colonial era, with evidence of human settlement in the area as early as the 10th century.
