Rostrenen, also known as Rostrenenn, is a commune in the Côtes-d'Armor department of Brittany, France. It is located at the confluence of the Blavet and Doré rivers, approximately 35 kilometers west of Saint-Brieuc. The town has a humid oceanic climate with mild winters and warm summers. Its history dates back to the 11th century, when it was a stronghold of the Dukes of Brittany. Rostrenen has a rich heritage, including the 15th-century Church of Notre-Dame-de-Rostrenen, the 16th-century Château de Rostrenen, and the 18th-century Manoir de Kerampuil.
