Roßla is a municipality in the Mansfeld-Südharz district of Saxony-Anhalt, Germany, located at the confluence of the Wipper and Helme rivers, about 10 km (6.2 mi) southwest of Sangerhausen. The average temperature in Roßla is 8.5 °C (47.3 °F), and the average annual precipitation is 550 mm (21.7 in). Roßla was first mentioned in a document in 932 and was granted town rights in 1226. The town is home to a number of historical buildings, including the St. Marienkirche, which was built in the 13th century.
