Rohrbach is a municipality in the district of Saalfeld-Rudolstadt, in Thuringia, Germany. It is situated approximately 10 km southwest of Saalfeld and 30 km southeast of Jena. The municipality has a population of around 2,000 and covers an area of 14.57 km². The weather in Rohrbach is temperate, with average temperatures ranging from 0°C in January to 20°C in July. The municipality has a long history, dating back to the 12th century. It was first mentioned in a document in 1132. Rohrbach was part of the Duchy of Saxe-Gotha from 1680 to 1826, and then part of the Duchy of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha from 1826 to 1918. After the German Revolution of 1918, Rohrbach became part of the state of Thuringia.
