Rogersville is a small city in the Ozark Mountains of Missouri, United States. It is located in Webster County, approximately 30 miles east of Springfield. The city has a humid subtropical climate with hot, humid summers and mild winters. Rogersville was founded in 1842 and named after Captain John Rogers, a local landowner and politician. The city has a rich history and heritage, with many historic buildings and sites, including the Rogersville Presbyterian Church, which was built in 1860 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
